Foreign Escapades and the trusty Fridge Freezer

The first thing that comes to mind when a person thinks of foreign destinations or holidays is most probably not your average home appliance but they do play a major part in making any foreign holiday or business trip enjoyable or at least bearable. Anyone who has ever been to Thailand, India or South America will know that the overbearing heat and humidity can be unbearable at times with the only relief being attained by a nice cold drink or ice cream but to achieve their refreshment objective they must be very cold.

There are few things worse in the tropics than warm beer, tepid coke or very runny ice cream so a good quality fridge freezer is essential. If you travel to any tropical country you will see that almost every retail premises regardless of what they sell have a refrigerator/freezer prominently placed with seemingly unending supplies of ice. It is hard to describe the relief one feels after taking a long cold drink after a debilitating walk or exercise so it is no surprise that these foreign retailers ensure their cooling electrical goods are in tip top condition, if they are not customers would simply go elsewhere. The need for good quality appliances is by no means limited to the tropics as food and drink can quickly spoil if not kept in the right conditions, in fact certain kinds of food can cause illness if consumed after being stored or left in adverse conditions, chicken is probably the most notable example.
