The Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing the Cleveland Browns for longer than any other team in the National Football League, dating back to’50. And while it hasn’t been quite that long since the Cleveland Browns won a game against the Steelers it may be starting to feel like it. On Sunday, Pittsburgh won for the twelfth straight time dating back to 2003 as they topped Cleveland by a final score of 27-13. The defending Superbowl champions improved to 4-2 while the Browns fell to 1-5.

The good news for NFL betting enthusiasts who took the +13′ with the Browns as a road underdog is that they managed to cover the pointspread by the slimmest of possible margins. Betting against the defending Superbowl champion is a long standing handicapping concept, and this season at least its worked like a charm-the Steelers have only covered one of their first six games. Cleveland, meanwhile, evened their NFL pointspread record at 3-3 on the season. The Browns have covered three straight after dropping their first three both straight up and against the spread. The 40 combined points went OVER the posted total of 37′.

Pittsburgh dominated the game in virtually every statistical category. They amassed 28 first downs to 12 for Cleveland, held a 543 to’7 total yardage advantage and a 36:46 to 23:14 time of possession advantage. Both teams turned the ball over four times, and the Steelers led only 17-14 in the third quarter. Most of the post game talk from both sides was about a controversial spot in the first half where the Steelers were given a first down on a short yardage play when it appeared that they didn’t make the required yardage.

After the contest, Derek Anderson spoke of the frustration of continually coming up short against the Steelers. The Browns have only one once in ten games since Pittsburgh moved into their new home at Heinz Field:

“We’re not trying to lose every time we go out here. We put tons of hours in and … it’s frustrating. Every single week, it’s frustrating.”

Steelers’ tight end Heath Miller said the team is happy to be where they are at this point despite not playing up to their standards:

“I think we haven’t played our best ball yet and that’s pretty comforting. We’ve gotten a few wins here without playing our best.”

The Steelers will host Brett Favre and the 6-0 Minnesota Vikings next Sunday. The Steelers are a -4 home favorite with the total set at 45. After a bye week, the Steelers will hit the road to play another undefeated team as they take on the Denver Broncos on Monday, November 9. Cleveland will host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, with the Browns a +7 home underdog and the total set at 42′.

If you are like most people, you love to watch movies. And like others, you may be looking to save money by watching them at home. Those who watch movies at home usually want to get them for cheap, in a convenient way, and want to be able to enjoy watching them. If you download your movies off of the internet you can get all of these things. Movie downloads allow you to enjoy movies with little effort on your part. You can even surf the web or do work while watching movies downloaded online.

There is not only one way to get movies off of the internet. With some websites you can buy the movies and keep them on your computer, and some sites only let you rent movies for a short period of time. Some movie downloading sites are legal, and some are not. With internet movies you can get both comfort and convenience by downloading the movies in your own home.

Downloading movies off of the internet can have some negative aspects, however. Some computers, like laptops, have small screens and can make it difficult to watch movies on them. These create the main issue with downloading movies off of the internet. Other screens are much larger and are better for playing movies on.

There are a few solutions to this problem. One is to copy movies that have been rented onto DVDs. This, of course, means that copies of the movies must be stored on your computer (i. E. Cannot be temporary files). With the files on DVDs you can then watch the movies on any television in your home that is attached to a DVD player.

A less convenient and more expensive option is to get a projector and a projector screen. You may attach your computer to the projector, which then projects the movie onto the screen. This is not very convenient for some people, but it may be a good option.

If you are good with technology, you can hook up your computer to a TV or larger monitor. With the computer hooked up you can watch downloaded movies on your large screen. It is possibly the most convenient way to watch movies on a larger screen. If you do this, you get the convenience of the internet and the enjoyment of a bigger screen.

Downloading movies online can take many forms. There are websites that have pirated movies available for free, but these are illegal. If you get caught downloading illegal movies you may get in trouble with the law. There are quality issues with these sites as well, supposedly. There are also movie sites that offer free movies, yet charge monthly fees or only allow people to watch them for a limited amount of time. Only some sites really offer free clips and movies.

As for other movies, movie downloads online tend to be cheaper than DVDs bought in stores. They are, of course, more expensive than free movies online. However, if you buy movies you can help the economy and you will not be in danger of legal issues. The quality may be better, and the websites that you download the movies from may be more trustworthy.

Firstly, it is not as it was a few years ago where most people were still on a slow modem connection. Movies On Internet You may also be concern that you won’t be on to play the movies on anything else other than your computer. If you’ve never had a chance to watch movies online, you really should.

No question about it, if you ever thought of building a shed, you will be surprised by the large number of designs and plans that are accessible. You may have discovered a few you like but remember its best to find a shed plan no matter which style you prefer. You may not be able to find designs to accommodate the exact kind you saw, but without doubt you will acquire some very close to it. Also most often you can do some adjustments. Even though there are so many various styles they all have primary similarities .

The very first thing you must ascertain before you even consider about purchasing a pattern is what is it going to be used for. Here are 5 popular shed designs that you may require to look into depending on the function.

1.Garden Sheds Probably the most popular as it is something almost every home owner has a need of. Often garden tools and equipment are stored in the garage. This is ok as a improvised fix, but after awhile it can create jumble. Not only that moving the equipment in and out could damage your vehicle. A superb style for a garden shed is one with a gable roof. This presents you a little bit of supplemental storage space up to. You can customize it by choosing the doors and window you would like to have, as well as the overall size.

2.Storage Sheds Very alike to a garden shed but a little better insulated. Most likely you will be stashing away items here that you genuinely want to shelter from the elements. Maybe you will have items that hold liquid that you do not want to free. Furthermore, for goods such as cloths or books and those types of things you do not want to get wet.. Storage sheds are oftentimes built with a salt box style roof. The design allow more exposure to the sun.

3.Pool Sheds Pool shed are unique from other forms of average basic sheds. fancier. With the proper plans even a novice can make one of these. There is more glass needed here in some of them. It may take a little more thought and precaution when constructing these unique sheds. They can range from being very easy to be used just as a change room along side the pool. There theres other styles that can be quite detailed, almost a smaller entertainment home. Some even have little kitchenettes in them. Once Again the option will be yours as to how fancy you want to be, along with your budget and how much space you have ready

4.Barn Sheds These are a genuinely special design but is pretty general. Your choice of this one will depend a lot of the external interior decoration of your home. Some people feel this shed style does not merge in well with ultra modern homes. On the hand they are perfect for the country or antique style household. There are a little bit tougher to build, but not out of the expertise of the beginner.

5.Combination Shed One of the different types beginning to come out on the market and its a super concept. Its specially useful if you need to lay in firewood. Fundamentally its a regular garden shed, with a open style leanto connected to it. The materials all match and one part blends in perfectly with the other.

No matter what your demands are or which style you have decided on, be sure to get a good simple to read and follow, set of plans.

Bodrum Holidays, Where To Go?

With evidence found during archaeological research of the Castle of St Peter, buildings dated back to 1100 BC have been found giving Bodrum a truly ancient town status. Things have progressed a little since then and Bodrum has developed both culturally and obviously in size with the time of the Ottoman Empire being a particularly fascinating period. The harbour is particularly engaging nowadays with its imposing view of the Castle and the numerous gulets anchored around the quayside. At night the Castle of St Peter is spectacularly illuminated is is a hive of activity with people enjoying the fine dining. In the city centre you’ll find one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Tomb of King Mausolus created as a memorial for the King.

In the castle is an underwater archaeological museum, housing wonderful exhibits. Construction of the castle began in the 1400s by the Crusaders, and the Knights made use of materials from the tomb of King Mausolus, it took over one hundred years to complete. Bodrum Castle is a place that definitely should be visited, and is also the site of the Museum of Underwater Archaeology.

Caria was ruled over by King Mausolus between 377 to 353 BC on behalf of the Persians although in practical terms it was largely independent. On his death in 353 BC, his Queen, Artemisia II of Caria, who also happened to be his sister, was devastated and tasked Greek architects Satyros and Pythis along four sculptors Bryaxis, Scopas, Leochares and Timotheus to build a tomb, for him that would also be a monument. The is became of the Seven Wonders of the World and lead to the adoption of the word Mausoleum.

The amphitheatre cut into the rocky hillside just outside Bodrum combines architecture from both the time of king Mausolus and later modifications added by the Romans. Having a seating capacity of around 13,000 and built during the Carian reign in the Hellenistic age of around 330 – 30 BC. It has the typical construction of most ancient amphitheatres which consists of the the stage (the Skene), the half-oval (the Orchestra) and the audience seating (the Cavea). Dating back to the time of Mausolus, this is one of the oldest theatres in Asia Minor. You’ll even find names inscribed into the seats indicating the people who helped to pay for the theatre. You will find it on the main Bodrum to Gumbet road and is still in active use today as there are often shows and concerts still held today!

Another of the great Seven Wonders of the World was the Temple of Artemis which was to found in the city of Ephesus which was one of the great cities of the Greeks. Today, Ephesus is one of the major tourist attractions not only in the region but in the whole of Turkey. With several biblical figures, including St. Paul, St. John the Evangelist and the Virgin Mary associated with Ephesus it is also a sacred place for many Christians.

Along the coast and heading west from Bodrum you will find Turgutreis. Quietly away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum but close enough if you just fancy a day or night out. You’ll still find that village atmosphere but now it also has the extremely smart marina with its beautiful shopping centre. Between Bodrum and Turgutreis is some excellent shopping with excellent furniture, electrical and hardware shops plus the exquisite Oasis shopping mall.

Bitez has something to offer almost everyone. It is a charming picturesque resort where holidaymakers can either relax on the beach or try out energetic water sports. Bitez lies on a bay, a few kilometres west from Bodrum, attracting an older, more upmarket crowd. The gently-sloping coarse-sand beach has wooden piers for swimming and is lined with whitewashed hotels and resort villas, whilst also playing host to a popular windsurfing and sailing school – its sheltered cove and shallow water are perfect for beginners. Bitez is known as the windsurfing capital of Turkey, which means there is very often a cooling breeze to counter the very hot temperatures experienced during July and August.

Bodrum Holidays are the perfect blend of fun and relaxation. But if you’re looking for somewhere to stay then you need look no further than our beautiful Turkey Holidays apartment which has stunning views over Lake Tuzla.

Cowboys Trounce Seahawks

Quarterback Tony Romo had another solid game, and the Dallas Cowboys made short work of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon in a 38-17 victory. Romo threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, and receiver Miles Austin caught a touchdown pass for the third straight game. The Cowboys improved to 5-2 with the win, while the Seahawks dropped to 2-5.

The Cowboys also got on the winning side of the NFL pointspread ledger with the win and cover as -10 home favorites. Dallas is now 4-3 against the spread for the season, while Seattle fell to 2-5 versus the number. The 55 combined points scored went OVER the posted total of 46′. Dallas has gone OVER in 5 of 7 games this season and four in a row. Seattle eclipsed the total for only the third time this season.

Romo has made greater patience in the pocket a priority this season, and it’s paying dividends. Sunday’s game was his third straight without an interception and he’s stayed interception free in five games this season-more than he did all of last year. Romo couldn’t resist a joke at his own expense:

“Shock! I’m seeing things. It’s as simple as that. I’m not throwing and hoping.”

Head coach Wade Phillips expressed his pleasure, but didn’t want his team to start believing their own press clippings:

“I feel good about the progress we’ve made, but we’ve still got a ways to go.”

Team owner Jerry Jones was happy with the performance and already looking ahead to next Sunday’s game at Philadelphia:

“I’m just glad to see as many people really do as well and play as well as they did today. Philadelphia is the kind of game that I think we’re ready for. … Plus, I think we all remember so much — I know I do and so many players on this team remember — how we left Philadelphia last year.”

Seattle quarterback Todd Hasselbeck played well, amassing 249 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions but didn’t get much help from a defense that couldn’t put the necessary pressure on Romo. He sounded frustrated in his postgame comments:

“We put two weeks into this game plan. I felt like we were ready. We just didn’t get it done. …. I feel physically drained, emotionally drained. I’m frustrated. We’re all searching for answers.”

The big game for the Cowboys that Jerry Jones alluded to is next Sunday night as they travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. The Cowboys have been installed as +3 underdogs with the total set at 47′. They’ll head to Green Bay to take on the Packers the following Sunday before returning home to play the hated Washington Redskins. Seattle will host the lowly Detroit Lions next Sunday, with the Seahawks a -10 home favorite and the total set at 43. They’ll hit the road for their next two games, facing the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings.

Rashad Evans was fighting for respect. He earned it and then some with a devastating 2nd round TKO of Chuck Liddell in the main event of UFC 88: Breakthrough.

If Evans needed any more validation of how little respect he was getting, he could have taken a look at the UFCs text message prediction poll of the main event which favored The Iceman by a whopping 81% to 19% margin. Or he could have listened to the UFC announcers, who had all but penciled Liddell in for a return to light heavyweight title contention after his inevitable victory. Instead of complain, Evans let his fists do the talking and with a perfectly placed overhand right will likely never have to worry about a lack of respect again.

From the opening horn, Evans showed no fear of Liddells once legendary power. Instead, he danced and moved (which was dumbly criticized as showboating by the UFC announce team), using his slick footwork and speed to dart in and out of range of Liddells punches.

Evans highlight reel power shot was to come in the 2nd round. Liddell backed Evans up near the cage wall and went to throw an uppercut. Simultaneously, Evans responded with an overhand right that landed quicker, harder and more accurately. The perfectly placed punch knocked Liddell out cold. Evans’ KO was one of the most devastating in the history of the sport, and made all the more so by the status of the man on the receiving end.

Rashad Evans raised his record to 17-0-1, with the lone blemish a draw against Tito Ortiz at UFC 73. Liddell, meanwhile, saw his record drop to 21-6″with three of those six losses coming in his last 4 fights.

Liddells loss notwithstanding, it was a good night for UFC veterans as Rich Franklin and Dan Henderson won their fights in impressive fashion. Franklin looked particularly sharp in dismantling tough Matt Hamill, eventually prevailing by 3rd round TKO. Hamill had trouble getting inside for the takedown he needed to compete in the bout, and every time he closed the distance he was met with a barrage of Franklin punches and kicks.

This was the UFCs first trip to Atlanta and despite a good attendance the crowd itself was somewhat disappointing. In a marked contrast to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic fans at the Target Center in Minneapolis for UFC 87″arguably the best MMA crowd ever at a US venue”the live crowd at Phillips Arena often acted as if they were at a taping of Georgia Championship Wrestling.

More problematic was the crowds utter lack of respect for the fighters postfight. Poor Dong Hyun Kim was booed during his postfight interview–not quite the respect that a 4th degree judo black belt whod just won a very tough fight deserves. Kims treatment by the fans cant be written off as a reaction to a close split decision victory; Rashad Evans was booed after his victory over Liddell, and short of decapitating The Iceman there was no way his win could have been more decisive.

Its that time of the year again–Americans are getting ready for football. In a few months NFL teams will be opening training camp and college football teams starting practice. Up north, however, the footballs are already flying as pro football is in full swing up in Canada with the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Most Americans don’t realize that the CFL has a lengthy and storied history. The league itself has been around since’30, and the Canadian Football championship–known as the Grey Cup–has been contended since’09. More recently, American fans are aware that a number of NFL stars got their start in the CFL including Doug Flutie, Jim Kelly, and Jeff Garcia.

The CFL is very high level professional football, but there are some significant differences between it and the NFL game:

At the most basic level, the football itself is bigger than the NFL ball. It is longer and fatter than the NFL ball. The CFL goal posts are on the goal line, while the NFLs are on the end line at the back of the endzone. The CFL field is also longer (110 yards) and wider (65 yards vs. the NFLs 53.5 yards), and the CFL end zones are 20 yards deep as opposed to 10 yards in the NFL.

Teams have 12 players on the field at once as opposed to 11 in the NFL. On offense, the extra player is a receiver, on defense a defensive back. And unlike the American game, where teams have 4 downs to move the ball ten yards the CFL has only 3. Maybe the hardest thing to get used to when listening to CFL broadcasts is the frequently references to teams going two and out. There are a few other subtle differences as well”teams only have 1 time out per half, only 20 seconds between plays, and all backfield players can be in motion prior to the snap (as opposed to only one in the NFL).

A major difference in the scoring is the ‘single’ which awards CFL teams one point for a kick–usually a punt or missed field goal–that lands in the end zone. This will frequently produce partial game scores of 1-0 or 1-1 that are impossible in the US game.

The rule differences also extend into the front office, where teams are required to have a certain quota of their roster be Canadian born. In an effort to prevent the CFL from becoming an NFL farm system, and to protect the unique identity of Canadian football’ of the 40 players on the roster must be natives.

Many US football fans look at the rules that include more players, a wider field, and fewer downs meant to encourage more passing and expect to see a wide open high scoring style of play similar to Arena Football. That’s not really how it works out–most games end up with final score totals in the 40′s, but the game itself really isn’t much more offensively oriented than its American counterpart. The rules may be different, but as in the NFL you need a solid rushing game and a stout defense to win games and championships.

There’s also more parity in the CFL than even the NFL, which is famous for the competitive equality of their teams. The reason is fairly simple–football at the high school and college level in Canada simply isn’t as competitive as in the US. That means the mandated ratio of native players also serves to facilitate parity within the CFL.

Among the ‘non-Canadians’ on the team, its also important to note that the CFL doesn’t get the highest level US college players. Most with NFL ability are in the NFL, or on a NFL team’s practice or developmental squad. There’s definitely some American players that are uniquely suited to the CFL game, but the general level of talent is similar to that seen in the Arena Football League.

Despite some major differences, the NFL and CFL have more in common–they’re both high level, intensely competitive professional football leagues. Once you understand the rule differences and the unique and fascinating history of the CFL, it is a very enjoyable brand of professional football to watch.

You wont see CFL news on ESPN, since theyre more interested in featuring spelling bees and lumberjack competitions and letting their personalities like Stuart Scott show how clever they are than covering sports. The good news is that the CFL receives extensive coverage in the Canadian press and all you need to do is visit a couple of websites to stay up to date. Each CFL city has their own sports media, and most have pretty good websites. The best one stop shopping can be found at the leagues own and Slam! Sports, which is roughly the Canadian equivalent of ESPNs website and has extensive CFL news, opinions and statistics.

The Washington Redskins are a mess right now. Head coach Jim Zorn has a tenuous hold on his job at best and after Sunday’s—6 loss to Kansas City was stripped of his offensive play calling duties. Management installed newly hired ‘offensive consultant’ Sherman Lewis as the new offensive play caller and the team has set up an awkward arrangement for him to get the plays to the quarterbacks. For that reason, starting QB Jason Campbell has some serious misgivings about the efficacy of the setup.

Lewis has only been out of retirement and with the team for two weeks, and has spent this week trying to ingest a crash course on the Redskins’ offensive schemes. While he was learning on the job, head coach Zorn was trying to put the best spin possible on what can only be seen as a de facto demotion and vote of ‘no confidence’:

“I need to have composure. I need to understand what the reality of the situation is, and I think our players expect me to rise up. We expect them to play under adverse conditions. We expect them to risk it all. … I’m conscious of what’s going on. I’m not naive about what’s going on, and yet I have to just hold back on any feelings and make the decisions.”

Quarterback Campbell is more concerned about the convoluted system of getting plays from Lewis to him:

“There’ll probably be a couple of plays I have in my head just in case if some reason it doesn’t get in on time.”

Here’s how things are supposed to work-Lewis will sit in the coaches’ box above the field and read the plays off a sheet. While Lewis has years of experience working in the so called ‘West Coast Offense’, Zorn left doubt that he really knows what he’s doing at this point stressing that Lewis “doesn’t know the protections” and “doesn’t know the blitz schemes.” Nevertheless, he’ll be running the offense when the Redskins take on Philadelphia this Monday night.

Once Lewis figures out what to call, that’s when it really gets tricky. He’ll relay the plays via headset not to Zorn but to offensive coordinator Sherman Smith. Smith will then inform the quarterback what to run. Zorn is left in the role of a passive bystander on offense, though he will listen in to the playcalling on his headset.

Backup quarterback Todd Collins also shared his concern with the new arrangement:

“It is unsettling. I’ve never gone through this before. I’ve never had a play caller get changed in the middle of the season.”

Lewis didn’t exactly evoke a lot of confidence upon his hiring, where he revealed that he’d been calling bingo games at a seniors’ center to kill time since his retirement in 2004. Still, Collins gave him a guarded vote of confidence;

“I know he’s been studying last year’s game against the Eagles and seems to have a pretty good idea how he wants to call the game this week. It’s the same plays. He might coach them a little differently or highlight some different areas, but the offense hasn’t gone under an overhaul or anything like that.”

The Redskins haven’t scored more than 17 points in a game this season, so maybe the thinking is that things can’t get any worse.

What To Do To Get Your Ex Girlfriend Back

A friend once described his recent break up as “infernal”. And I am pretty convinced that a lot of readers will confirm his experience. There is something different with break ups. They can make even the most confident individuals reassess their inner selves and move even the toughest man to shed a few tears.

Immediately after a break up, people will be giving you their solicited or unsolicited advice and most of them will include the motherhood statements of “it’s just not meant to be” or “move on” but all these lines won’t do anyone good.

But these often go through deaf ears because you only want to get your ex girlfriend back.

When it comes to attempting a reconciliation, there is no tried and tested method of doing so.

Everything involves great ounce of patience and hard work in order for you to get your ex girlfriend back. But because women tend to be more forgiving then men, making up may not be far ahead.

It is very normal for someone to keep a respectful distance from an ex right after a break up. Honestly, would you like to call the person who showed you the door?

Another thing, there’s going to be that air of awkwardness that will deter anyone of you from picking up that phone. Not to mention being labeled as desperate.

However, if you are really want to get your ex girlfriend back, you have to be brave enough to make the first move.

With the technology that we have now, sending friendly text messages is enough to make her warm up to you again. I am not suggesting sending her poems but casual messages are enough to keep you in her radar.

Lastly, if you want to be in her “maybe” list and not in her “exes: do not resuscitate” list, then always be thoughtful enough to remember all special dates which includes birthdays and the holidays.

Women gravitate towards people who make them feel special and remembered.
